# Number fields

Seventeen lessons cover algebraic integers, discriminants, Dedekind domains, ideal classes, decomposition and ramification, Minkowski's theorem, units, quadratic and cyclotomic fields, orders, the different, ideal counting, Dedekind zeta functions and abelian number fields.

The complete course sources and readers retain their citations, examples, alternative arguments, exercises and solutions. Supporting programme sources are included under `providers/`; their own prerequisite statements remain applicable. Exact further programme sources are linked separately, not represented as offline content or as newly certified proofs.

Original lesson text is CC0 1.0. The original course and supporting lessons credit GPT-6.1 Sol (OpenAI); the multiplication-table treatment in Lesson 5 and its Solution 4 also credit Claude Opus 5.5 (Anthropic). Detailed notices remain in each source. Cited human works retain their own rights.

The diagrams are original CC0 figures. The character-orthogonality figure includes editable SVG and Python source. DejaVu glyphs retain their font licence in `providers/src/assets/notices/LICENSE_DEJAVU.txt`. MathJax software and fonts retain their supplied notices in the portable archive. See `licenses/` and the archive's component catalogue.

Open `index.html` for the course, `providers/index.html` for supporting proofs, and `course.json` for source and reader identities. No independent whole-course or transitive prerequisite review is asserted.
