Proofs of forced Navier–Stokes constructions

This collection gives complete mathematical derivations for Theorem 1.1 and Corollary 10.6 of OpenAI’s Finite Time Blowup for Navier–Stokes. It follows the construction from the original profiles to the actual correction fields, compact smooth forcing, bounded energy, velocity blowup and periodic realization, retaining the original coordinates, viscosity, supports and solution classes.

The theorem and its construction state the exact whole-space and periodic conclusions and link each required mathematical argument. The companion computation constructions give global smooth flows with prescribed forces and exact halting detectors.

The collection contains the following mathematical derivations:

The separate eventually stationary computation construction, with a typeset reader, proves the finite reversible recorder, exact rectangle motions, fixed detector, mean-zero spatial clock, residual force, global classical uniqueness, bounded energy and effective evaluation on the flat three-torus. SC7 gives periodic and solenoidal alternatives. SC8 gives complete slow-clock coefficients and a positive lower bound for stationary forcing. The rapidly decreasing-force and velocity-field detection constructions are developed in the following two notes.

The rapidly vanishing forcing construction, with a typeset reader, derives all four experiments from three exact memories: addressed moving curls and their torus image, alternating fractional coordinates, and a periodic lattice. RC1 supplies the complete uniqueness and pressure projection arguments. RC2–RC8 prove the finite instruction maps, full particle paths, every mixed rapid-decay bound and the exact detector equivalences. RC9 proves time-space integrability and convergence to a limiting flow with two-sided Lipschitz bounds.

The velocity-field detection construction, with a typeset reader, gives complete arguments for the pointwise torus test and the integral test on the plane times a circle. VD1–VD4 establish the scalar receiver, classical comparison and short-burst diffusion estimates at the original viscosity. VD5–VD8 give the injective integer addresses, separated translation gates, all mixed force bounds, integrable scalar tails and the moving-mass estimate. VD2 proves the exact map between integer and fractional tape coordinates; VD9 gives global vertical-velocity and energy bounds and the torus time-integrability obstruction for the paper’s positive-injection construction.

The comparison of the two torus velocity tests, with a typeset reader, proves the exact history projection from the supplied Lean construction to the original machine. VC1–VC6a derive the finite prefix gates, signed bursts, diffusion barriers, unchanged-viscosity residual and effective evaluation through the cutoff endpoints. VC7 proves the full mass identity, including after halting: the supplied construction withdraws each burst, whereas the paper’s construction retains its injected mass. Both detect the same halting event. The note includes complete written arguments, an editable diagram and an explicit admissible bump derivative bound.
